Our team also led PTA’s legal representation in numerous cases before the Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court concerning the challenge to the Removal and Blocking of Unlawful Online Content (Procedure, Oversight, and Safeguards) Rules. We also served as lead counsel for PTA in a wide variety of other cases, including those challenging the determination to lower the Mobile Termination Rate (MTR) before the Islamabad High Court, initiated by PMCL and CMPak.

NLA Elections

Represented members of the upper and lower houses of Parliament and members of the provincial assemblies, at all stages, involving filing of nomination papers, fulfilling of procedural requirements before the concerned Residing Officers (RO) for candidates, challenging of delimination of constituencies before the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), preparation in filing of various applications pertaining to inconsistencies noted during the electoral process, preparation of filing of election expenses in favour of the returned candidate after election has concluded, and contestation of election petitions before the election tribunal, including contesting of appeals before the Supreme Court.

Serving in an advisory capacity to Mangla Metals (Private) Limited and its sister company, Kohsar Hydro Power (Private) Limited, a leading hydropower company based in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), and providing strategic counsel and litigation support on a variety of matters pertaining to contractual breaches and claims related to financial and administrative irregularities in corporate affairs.

Representing the Large Taxpayers’ Office (LTO), a division created under the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), to manage high turnover revenues, in numerous high-profile cases, including tax references and writ petitions before the High Court, aggregating a financial exposure exceeding 13 billion rupees.
